Every 30 minutes a train leaves directly from the airport to the railway station Estació de Sants.

Also very practical and rapid is the AEROBUS that leaves from the airport to the city centre every 15 minutes.  Get off at the last bus stop Plaza Catalunya and a few meters away from there, at the beginning of the Ramblas, continue with bus V13 up to the stop Aribau-Laforja, which leaves you directly in our street Laforja. Walk up the street for only 2 min. and you'll find the house number 67  where we are located.

Several times a day, there is a bus of the company SAGALES that leaves from Girona airport to the bus station Estació del Nord in Barcelona. The journey takes about 1 hour and 10 min. To know more about time tables and prices, please visit their website
From the bus station Estació del Nord in Barcelona take Metro line 1 to Catalunya. Then change to the Ferrocarrils Catalans = FGC (the other underground system) and get off on Muntaner station. To arrive at Petit Hotel from Muntaner station, please check out the map.

From RAILWAY STATION 'ESTACIÓ DE SANTS' take Metro line 5 to Diagonal station. Then change to the Ferrocarrils Catalans = FGC (the other underground system) and get off on Muntaner station. To arrive at Petit Hotel from Muntaner station, please check out the map above.
If you don't like to change trains, please take bus 27 situated just in front of the station and get off at the bus stop Travessera de Gràcia-Muntaner. FGC or Ferrocarrils Catalans

Barcelona offers 2 underground systems: The METRO and the FGC. Both are connected to each other, both run on the same schedule and cost the same. This makes your movement through the city even easier.
It’s more convenient to take the FGC to and from Petit Hotel. Muntaner is our nearest station, only a 5 min. walk from our guesthouse. Line 6 brings you to Plaza Catalunya (city center) in 5 min. (4 stops).

The Metro is one of the 2 underground systems that our city offers in addition to the FGC. Both are connected to each other, both run on the same schedule and cost the same. This makes your movement through the city even easier.
It’s not the most convenient type of transportation but if you want to use it, you can get off at the Diagonal stop of Line 5 or at the Fontana stop of Line 3, both are about 15 min. walk from our guesthouse.

Urban buses are also a very good option to get to or from Petit Hotel. A good example is bus V13, which departs just in front of our house, at the street Muntaner, and leaves you at the Ramblas (city center). To get back, you can take the same bus at the Ramblas. It leaves you only a 100 m walk from our house, at the stop Aribau-Laforja.

Our city's tram is modern, quick and practical. It starts from Plaza Francesc Macià – 5 minutes walk from Petit - and runs along the whole Diagonal avenue. It's perfect to get to the congress and business centre Palau de Congressos, the shopping centre L'Illa Diagonal, the Camp Nou and the university area of the city.

Park Güell

The Park Güell with more than 17 hectares is a reflection of the artistic fullness of Gaudí.
An architectural jewel that offers the best panoramic views of our city. It is full of groves and paths leading to a marvelous central square of 3000 m2. Most of the surfaces are decorated with colorful mosaics, including Gaudí’s emblematic dragon fountain. You have not been in Barcelona if you have not visited the Park Güell. It’s a must-see!

The Galvany Market is a monumental market with Modernist stained glass windows. It was declared an Artistic Monument and is one of the most beautiful and unique municipal markets of Barcelona.
With market stalls including charcuterie, meat, fruit and vegetables, legumes and cereals, fresh fish, seafood, preserved, bakeries, ecologic products… there are also dietetics and nutrition establishments, bars and restaurants.

Tibidabo is the highest peak of the range “Collserola”, a mountainous forest surrounding the city of Barcelona to the north.
At the top of the Tibidabo is the emblematic temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus that every night is illuminated and can be seen from across the city. And for the children awaits the Tibidabo Amusement Park, with its lighted ferris wheel dating from 1899, which makes it a historic landmark of the city, because it is the first Amusement Park in Spain and the second oldest in Europe. And as you climb up the elegant Tibidabo Avenue, don’t miss the Modernist “TRAMVIA BLAU” from 1901, a survivor tram of the old Barcelona.

The Turó Park is a tidy, elegant and cozy area. A shaded area of about 28.288 m2 with small forests, an oval lake, covered with nymphs that bloom in spring, beautiful scenery, beds of ivy, and winding pathways. Since its creation at the beginning of the twentieth century, this park has been without a doubt one of the most emblematic parks of Barcelona.

Gràcia is a charismatic, bustling, cosmopolitan and bohemian neighbourhood. It’s one of the most attractive places in the city.
A place where all live side by side: lifelong residents, exchange students and bohemian artists looking for inspiration from the vibrant life of its streets and squares. The area is full of bars, restaurants and shops.
One of the liveliest moments of the summer is celebrated in August: The “Fiesta mayor de Gràcia” festival, where the streets of this neighborhood are decorated with spectacular ornaments prepared by neighbors for months. Live music, dancing and party is waiting for all.

In this avenue of 1 kilometer, we can admire the buildings of architectural Modernism artists like Gaudí, Puig i Cadafalch, Domènech i Montaner. All of them were declared as UNESCO World Heritage sites: Casa Milá (La Pedrera), Casa Batlló, Casa Lleó Morera etc…
You will also find the best luxury shops: Cartier, Tiffany’s, Chanel, YSL, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Prada, Stella McCartney and other major international firms, apart from an excellent gastronomic offer.
All the beauty and elegance of Barcelona is on the "Passeig de Gracia"
