TYPES OF TRANSPORT

FGC or Ferrocarrils Catalans

Barcelona offers 2 underground systems: The METRO and the FGC. Both are connected to each other, both run on the same schedule and cost the same. This makes your movement through the city even easier.
It’s more convenient to take the FGC to and from Petit Hotel. Muntaner is our nearest station, only a 5 min. walk from our guesthouse. Line 6 brings you to Plaza Catalunya (city center) in 5 min. (4 stops).

METRO

The Metro is one of the 2 underground systems that our city offers in addition to the FGC. Both are connected to each other, both run on the same schedule and cost the same. This makes your movement through the city even easier.
It’s not the most convenient type of transportation but if you want to use it, you can get off at the Diagonal stop of Line 5 or at the Fontana stop of Line 3, both are about 15 min. walk from our guesthouse.

BUS

Urban buses are also a very good option to get to or from Petit Hotel. A good example is bus V13, which departs just in front of our house, at the street Muntaner, and leaves you at the Ramblas (city center). To get back, you can take the same bus at the Ramblas. It leaves you only a 100 m walk from our house, at the stop Aribau-Laforja.

TRAM

Our city's tram is modern, quick and practical. It starts from Plaza Francesc Macià – 5 minutes walk from Petit - and runs along the whole Diagonal avenue. It's perfect to get to the congress and business centre Palau de Congressos, the shopping centre L'Illa Diagonal, the Camp Nou and the university area of the city.
